Asset Servicing Group, LLC, (ASG) was founded in 2002 and built on this simple idea and belief: An idea that bringing dedicated administration professionals together would create a solid and viable company and a belief that emphasizing hard work and strong service would build trusted relationships and promote growth. The ASG team has since enjoyed decades of success as a third-party administrator forming trusted relationships with court appointed fiduciaries, financial institutions and investors. Its professionals’ unparalleled experience stems from servicing thousands of policies with over 7.6 billion in death benefit, communicating with, and tracking thousands of insureds and managing thousands of investor relationships.
ASG believes our people are our most important asset. Our dedicated professionals have devoted their time and energy creating an organization they would entrust with their personal assets and proudly service the assets our clients have entrusted to us.
In 2018, H. Thomas Moran, II, passed the torch to Moritz Roever and ASG’s dedicated team of professionals. Under Moritz’s leadership, ASG will continue providing time-tested services and stay at the forefront by leading the industry with innovative ways to evolve.
As new technology is developed and implemented to comply with regulations and new laws introduced to the marketplace, it is ASG’s mission to further expand on its fully integrated servicing platform and continue to be a pioneer on expanding the scope of services and management solutions to its global client base.
Meet The Senior Management
Moritz Roever
Managing Director
Moritz started his career at Bloomberg, New York, before he joined the investment banking departments of Citibank and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Frankfurt. Between 2002 and 2005, he was Managing Director at Berlin based Scope Group, a leading European rating agency, where he started focusing on longevity / mortality contingent products and oversaw more than forty life asset backed structures in the USA, UK, and Germany.
From 2005 onwards, Moritz became an entrepreneur and started his first ventures in the life asset industry. Between 2008 and 2011 Mr. Roever was also Managing Director at Seaport Group, a NYC and London based investment bank, where he was responsible for building out their European high yield and longevity-based trading operations. In 2012 he was co-founder of LifebondXchange S.A., Luxembourg, the first tertiary market trading platform for life settlements in Europe. He personally successfully transacted in excess of $3 billion in life settlements and has been mandated as a consultant and re-structuring manager for various Life Settlement funds.
Through the acquisition of Asset Servicing Group, LLC (as well as Heritagemark, LLC and First Escrow, Inc.) in Oklahoma City Moritz built the base for expanding ANMANI Holdings, LLC into one of the leading full- service life settlement platforms in the industry. Through the platform’s subsidiary Anmani Assets, LLC and its affiliate Munich (Germany) based Puerta Grande Investment Management GmbH the firm also specializes, and successfully serves its global clientele base in asset advisory, origination and sales of life asset portfolios as well as other trading related services.
Christie Reid
Director Of Policy Administration
Christie has over 35 years of business experience including extensive experience in the life insurance industry for the past 15 years. Christie has been with ASG for over a decade and has since immersed herself in the life settlement servicing process. A career spent working with life settlement portfolios in receiverships, conservatorships, and bankruptcy restructures; She has the experience necessary to service any type of life settlement portfolio. Christie directs the day-to-day operations of policy services and is instrumental in streamlining process and procedures, providing leadership, and enhancing the scope of services that provide real value to all of ASG’s clients.
Christie attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and has lived in Oklahoma City for the past 36 years. Her mission is to continue to provide superior leadership, contribute to the growth of ASG, and continue to implement innovative ways to enhance all aspects of life settlement services.
